Job Description: The Automation Engineer will be responsible for managing, engineering, and estimating direct digital controls (DDC) projects on campus for card access, temperature controls, lighting controls, snow melt systems, and utility monitoring.This position will diagnose and troubleshoot building automation system and network issues to ensure campus systems are running at peak efficiency. Will work closely with engineering, consultants, information technology technicians, general contractors, and trades technicians. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for hiring, coordinating, and directing sub-contractors on commercial construction applications.
